Billy Gresko has been diving for sponge for over 26 years. 26 years later, he still loves what he does.

 

The only thing that’s changed in the past two decades is the number of sponging boats. The fleet that neared 100 boats has dwindled down to just five. 

 

But one of the five boats is Billy's, the Agios Fanouris, or "the Saint of finding lost things". 

 

He feels the name is especially "appropriate" for a sponging boat and for a man who has made his living on finding underwater treasures.
